Ian McLean - External Relations

Ian was educated at Prince Alfred College and the University of South AustraliaIan and  was one of the first Development Directors appointed in Australia in 1989 at Prince Alfred College and subsequently St Peter's College, both in Adelaide.

He has subsequently been a leading Development practitioner in both Australian and UK independent schools over the past 20 years.  In 1999 he moved to the UK and established successful programmes at, Uppingham, Loretto and Lancing College.  

As a previous President of ADAPE, Chairman of the IDPE in the UK and a member of the CASE Europe board, he has been a leader in educating others about development best practice.  An international outlook and his broad experience with different nationalities inspired his move last year to the Leysin American School in Switzerland.
