Ian McLean - External Relations

Ian was educated at Prince Alfred College and the University of South Australia.  In 1989 he became one of the first Development Directors appointed in Australia, working initially at Prince Alfred College and subsequently at St Peter's College, both in Adelaide.

He has been a leading Development practitioner in both Australian and UK independent schools over the past 20 years.  In 1999 he moved to the UK and established successful programmes at, Uppingham, Loretto and Lancing College.  Ian is now Development Director at Millfield School.  As a previous President of ADAPE, Chairman of the IDPE in the UK and a member of the CASE Europe board, Ian has been a leader in educating others about development best practice.
