About IDPE

The IDPE is the professional body for those working in fundraising and alumni relations within UK education.

It represents its members and seeks to provide unrivalled networking opportunities, affordable training, mentoring and a wider appreciation and understanding of the development profession throughout the sector.

The Institute hopes that, through its work and that of its members, additional funding will be secured for education in the UK.

The IDPE aims to be recognised as the professional body for educational development professionals, representing the views of its membership to similar bodies representing Governing Bodies, Heads, Bursars and Marketing Professionals. It also seeks to represent the views of its membership nationally and by so doing influence policy and regulation of the profession.

The Institute is registered as a non-profit limited company and is a charity. It is committed to serving, supporting and assisting its members, promoting a code of professional conduct and sharing best practice.
